IN HOUSE LABELS

Seeking out rare and valuable records, Wewantsounds (re)discovers the most treasured sounds from Japan to Lebanon, from Paris to Los Angeles!

Producer and compulsive crate digger, Fuzati from Klub Des Loosers has teamed up with Modulor to create Le Très Jazz Club, an exclusively vinyl and jazz label. Japanese jazz has long been a too well-kept secret that it would be unfortunate to deprive yourself of! This is why Le Très Jazz Club has been celebrating Japan since its very first releases.

In addition to its digital and physical distribution activity, Modulor created a label in 2008 which was initially focused on French electronic music with artists such as Arnaud Rebotini, Scratch Massive and Juan Trip. Since 2010, the label has expanded its repertoire through not only emblematic artists of the independent rap scene, but also soul, jazz and French chanson popular artists. Thus, Modulor has released records by talented rappers Dooz Kawa, Lucio Bukowski, J.P. Manova, acclaimed producers Kyo Itachi, Lionel Soulchildren, James Digger, multi-award-winning Canadian singer Dominique Fils-Aimé, and the iconic Pierre Richard. Today, the label is driven by a strong will to break free from genres and go beyond all musical borders!

Playoff Records is a label specializing in soul funk compilations, samples and reissues. For fans of 70s soul, 80s funk and 90s hip-hop!
